* Until 1045 PM CDT.
* At 922 PM CDT, severe thunderstorms were located along a line
extending from Gilberts to West Chicago to near Naperville to
Mazon, moving northeast at 45 mph.
HAZARD...60 mph wind gusts.

IMPACT...Expect damage to roofs, siding, and trees.

Schaumburg, Hoffman Estates, Bartlett, Streamwood, Hanover Park,
Roselle, Inverness, and Barrington Hills around 930 PM CDT.
Palatine, Elk Grove Village, Woodridge, Lemont, Barrington,
Rolling Meadows, Wood Dale, and Itasca around 935 PM CDT.
Chicago, Joliet, Arlington Heights, Des Plaines, Mount Prospect,
Buffalo Grove, Ohare Airport, Melrose Park, Lockport, and New
Lenox around 940 PM CDT.
PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...
Remain alert for a possible tornado! Tornadoes can develop quickly
from severe thunderstorms. If you spot a tornado go at once into the
basement or small central room in a sturdy structure.
For your protection move to an interior room on the lowest floor of a
building.
A Tornado Watch remains in effect until 1100 PM CDT for northeastern
Illinois...and northwestern Indiana.
